We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Marketing Specialist based in Inwood, NY (Long Island) or near Graham, NC, to amplify our brand presence and drive growth through compelling storytelling, digital innovation, and industry engagement. This role is pivotal in shaping how Apex Mills is perceived across key markets, ensuring our legacy of excellence continues to thrive. You’ll be the hub between sales, leadership, and our in-house design support—helping us tell our story, elevate our brand, and drive growth.

What You’ll Do 

  • Partner with the sales team to craft and execute marketing strategies that strengthen our brand position and showcase our unique textile solutions.
  • Conduct market and competitive research to uncover trends and identify opportunities for lead generation.
  • Draft and oversee the marketing budget, working closely with management and finance to align with business goals.
  • Lead digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, PPC, email campaigns, and website enhancements.
  • Write and manage content for email, social media, product literature, case studies, and web.
  • Oversee our website redevelopment project, ensuring it reflects our brand and clearly communicates product capabilities.
  • Measure and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights to improve results.
  • Manage production of all marketing collateral, including promotional materials, sample books, signage, product brochures, and branded merchandise.
  • Coordinate trade show participation and customer-facing events: planning, logistics, booth design, staffing, hotel bookings, lead capture, and follow-up, ensuring a strong ROI.
  • Foster relationships with industry associations, media outlets, and partners to secure sponsorships, speaking opportunities, brand exposure, and collaborative ventures.

What You Bring

  • Experience: 2+ years in B2B marketing, preferably within textiles, industrial, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in digital marketing tools (e.g., SEO, PPC, LinkedIn, Constant Contact), CRM/ERP systems (Infor CSI preferred), and Microsoft 365.
  • Attributes: Exceptional communication skills, a proactive mindset, a self-directed work style, and the ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
  • Expertise: Demonstrated success in coordinating trade shows and aligning marketing efforts with sales objectives.
