After 15 years operating the small-but-mighty technical apparel brand NW Alpine, which made all of its clothes in Salem, Oregon, its founder Bill Amos has decided to close up shop. The decision comes amid an ever-worsening environment for both domestic manufacturing, and the outdoor recreation industry.
