The W. Duke Kimbrell Flex Factory has officially opened at NC State’s Wilson College of Textiles*, providing 17,000 square feet dedicated to textile research, collaboration, prototyping and entrepreneurship. The facility includes state-of-the-art equipment, a student makerspace and a prototype lab where industry partners, entrepreneurs, researchers and students can turn new textile concepts into products.
