The textile community is remembering Dr. Andre West, longtime professor and former director of the Zeis Textiles Extension at NC State’s Wilson College of Textiles, who died Sept. 10. West leaves a lasting legacy through his work in textile education, innovation and industry engagement and through the countless students, colleagues and textile professionals whose careers he influenced.
