Asheboro, NC (Sept. 4, 2018) For almost 26 years, BJ Con-Sew, Inc. of Asheboro, a family-owned contract cut and sew company, has been serving the bedding, furniture, pet, medical and home furnishing industries.
The business was started in October, 1992 by Jerry and Barbara Trotter of Asheboro. Through the years the company has grown substantially, along with the family’s influence, as it is now into its third generation of family members working in the company.
To reflect this change and the company’s goal of continuous improvement and evolution in the cut and sew industry, the Trotter family recently changed the business name to Trotters Sewing Company, Inc.
Trotters Sewing Company, Inc. still remains under the same management and staff, and it is still located at 321 Industrial Park Ave., Asheboro, its home for the past 15 years.
“We are very excited about the company’s name change, as well as this opportunity to re-brand the business that my parents started over 25 years ago,” said Todd Trotter, C.O.O. of Trotters Sewing Company. “Their influences on this company and family are still seen in the day to day operations, and we are very optimistic about the future of Trotters Sewing Company.”
Trotters Sewing Company manufactures many different cut and sewn products for its customers from various industries. Current product lines include furniture upholstery covers for home furnishings and outdoor furnishings, pet bedding covers, mattress covers, ironing board covers, mattress branding merchandise, and medical products, among others.
