IND HEMP is investing in a new secondary fiber processing line at its Fort Benton, Montana, facility to move domestically produced hemp closer to ready-to-spin quality. The equipment will provide opening, cleaning and cottonizing capabilities, allowing processed hemp fiber to move more directly to yarn spinners for use in woven and knitted apparel, home goods and technical textile applications.
