For our annual Review & Forecast feature, a number of textile and apparel producers and their suppliers responding to our survey reported mixed results for 2024, but most seem optimistic for an upturn this year. Numerous challenges such as inflation, unfair trade practices, geopolitical instability and general economic malaise continued to plague the industry last year, some respondents noted. But several say a new administration in Washington has brought reason for hope and optimism.
