Greensboro, N.C.-based UNIFI has introduced two new performance yarn technologies aimed at giving textile brands and manufacturers greater design flexibility. Cofira combines the aesthetics and comfort of spun yarn with the functionality of filament yarn and can incorporate other UNIFI technologies, while Resist2O Pro provides durable water resistance without topical treatments or fluorinated chemistry. Both technologies are designed for applications ranging from apparel and footwear to furnishings, gear and industrial textiles.
