The Textile Engine: NSF Regional Innovation Engine and NC State Wilson College of Textiles have received a $350,000 grant from the Walmart Foundation to advance sustainable solutions within the fashion industry. The funding will support researchers in conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) for yarns made from some of the most commonly used new and recycled fibers in the industry.
