Can tariffs turn around the U.S. textiles industry?

Eighty percent is the approximate decline in employment at U.S. textile mills over the past 25 years. Hefty tariffs on Chinese imports are good news for some in the industry – if they stay in place. Uncertainty however is weighing heavily on the business, as questions remain about how tariffs will be implemented and the effect they will have on consumer spending.
