New testing from the Natural Resources Defense Council indicates that state restrictions on PFAS in textile products are already reducing the presence of the so-called “forever chemicals” in consumer goods. After examining more than 100 products, researchers found a significant decline in PFAS levels following the implementation of laws in California and New York.
