Renaissance Fiber has secured approximately $2.24 million in financing to complete and operate its first commercial-scale hemp fiber processing facility in Mocksville, N.C. The funding will support manufacturing infrastructure, raw material purchases and the company’s transition to full-scale production. Using proprietary technology that makes domestically grown hemp compatible with existing textile spinning equipment, Renaissance Fiber aims to strengthen U.S. fiber supply chains and create new opportunities for American farmers and textile manufacturers.
