SEAMS GIVES BACK

The SEAMS Association held their Fall Networking Conference October 18 – 20, 2017 at the Westin Hilton Head

The SEAMS Association held their Fall Networking Conference October 18 – 20, 2017 at the Westin Hilton Head Resort.  As a show of appreciation, the Westin gifted to SEAMS one of their Heavenly Beds to be used initially for a raffle.   Instead, SEAMS decided to donate this Heavenly Bed to a worthy organization and chose Things of My Very Own, Inc.

Things of My Very Own, Inc.provides crisis intervention services to children impacted by extensive abuse and/or neglect.  Services are also available to children who are, solely due to the lack of items necessary for sustainability, at risk of a Child Protective Services intervention.

Their goal is to keep children together with non-abusive family members, and out of the foster care system, whenever possible.
