Mount Vernon Mills, with a rich history spanning nearly 180 years, brings trusted American textile excellence to today’s sewn products market. Our capabilities include yarn spinning, fabric weaving, fabric bleaching, dyeing, finishing, FR finishing, sanding, and napping. We operate the largest denim manufacturing facility in the U.S.A. In addition to denim, our fabric portfolio includes shirtings, poplins, sateens, twills, ripstops, ducks, canvases, pocketing, industrial and upholstery fabrics, and backing and filtration fabrics. Many fabrics are offered in non-FR and FR versions to meet your specific requirements. Fabric weights range from 4 ounces per square yard (OPSY) to 16 OPSY. We produce several blends including: cotton, poly/cotton, FR fibers, cotton/hemp, and more. We also offer stretch fabrics utilizing multiple stretch technologies. Our value-added services include fabric slitting and quilting, die cutting, fabric biasing, and related processes.
